Your Macclesfield to the Peaks Pub Tour
We’ll pick you up from your chosen location in Macclesfield in your own private minibus or coach and head straight into the Peaks.
Every tour can be tailored to your group, but a typical route could look something like this…
🍺 First stop – Buxton
We’ll start in the beautiful spa town of Buxton, with a visit to the Buxton Tap House , a great first stop to get everyone settled in and the drinks flowing.
Then there’s time for another local favourite before we head further into the Peak District.
🍻 Next stop – Bakewell & Thornbridge
From Buxton, we’ll make our way through the Peak District to Bakewell.
One of the highlights is a stop at Thornbridge Brewery’s Taproom, where we can arrange reserved tables for your group.
With up to 20 unique beers on tap, there’s plenty to discover whether you’re a serious craft beer fan or simply fancy trying something different.
Afterwards, we’ll head into Bakewell town centre for a couple of cracking pub stops and some time to enjoy the atmosphere of one of the Peak District’s best-known towns.
🍺 Final stop – Matlock
From Bakewell, we’ll continue to Matlock for a final pub stop.
Depending on your route and timings, this could include one of our favourites such as The Remarkable Hare – the perfect place for one last drink before climbing back aboard your private transport for the journey home to Macclesfield.

We can include a delicious group meal from around £20pp extra, making your pub tour into a complete day or evening out.

How much does it cost?
Tours start from approximately £45 per person based on a group of 16 people.
Because your transport is private, the exact price depends on the number of people in your group and the size of vehicle required. This means the per-person price may be a little higher or lower depending on your numbers.
As a guide, private transport for the tour starts from around £720 per group.
Just send us your preferred date and approximate group size and we’ll work out the best option and price for you.
